Trim Path

Trim your paths.

Overview

Trim Paths is a powerful feature in Adobe After Effects used primarily with shape layers. It allows you to animate the start and end points of a shape's path independently, effectively "trimming" the shape's appearance over time.

Controls

  • Trim Start: Determines the start point of the shape's path.

  • Trim End: Determines the end point of the shape's path.

  • Trim Offset: Allows you to offset the trimmed path along the path itself.

  • Offset Direction: Direction in which the offsetting occurs.
