Tilt Shift Blur

Tilt Shift Blur

Add a custom-area blur that mimics the selective focus of tilt-shift camera lenses

Overview

Tilt Shift Blur is a powerful tool that adds a dreamy, miniature-like blur effect to your projects. Mimicking the selective focus of a tilt-shift camera lens, this feature lets you highlight specific areas while blurring the rest.

Controls

  • Blur Type: Select the type of blur for the out-of-focus area: opt for a smooth, traditional blur with box blur or add texture and detail with noise blur.

  • Strength: Adjust the intensity of the blur effect applied to the out-of-focus areas.

  • Size: Resize the rectangle that determines the in-focus area vs out-of-focus area.

  • Angle: Rotate the orientation of the rectangle used to determine in-focus area and out-of-focus area.

  • Feather: Control the gradation of the transition between the blurred and sharp areas. Increase to create a more organic effect.

  • Focus invert: Enables you to flip how the blur is applied to your project or layer. A value of 0 keeps the in-focus area at the center of the effect, while a value of 1 fully inverts the effect, keeping the outside areas in-focus while blurring the center of the layer.
