Chroma RGB Shift

Chroma RGB Shift

Shift the RGB channels on your footage.

Overview

The Chroma RGB Shift effect creates a visually striking look by separating and shifting the red, green, and blue color channels of an image or video. This effect gives a glitchy, distorted appearance that can be used to emphasize digital disruption or create a unique aesthetic like chromatic aberration.

Controls

  • Mode: Uniform, Separate or Corner

  • Double Side activated: Channel displacement will occur in both axis direction instead of only one.

  • Smooth Edge: Effect won’t be applied towards the edges of the layer.

  • Amount: Distance of channel displacement from origin.

  • Angle: Direction in which channel displacement occurs.
