Hello Fablers, and welcome back to another Academy tutorial video. In this video, we're going to be talking about the Twirl Distortion. We have a simple scene, grab our JPEG layer, go to our effects panel on the top right, and let's type in twirl. Select it, drag it, drop it to apply. And immediately we've got a couple of parameters here.
So once again, for whatever reason, let's turn our radius up to 10,000. There you go. You can notice immediately a pretty big shift in the effect, and let's go through these settings. Now, the angle determines the angle of the pixels twisting in any circular motion. Radius as we said, you can adjust this accordingly. Let's go to five just to see what happens.
Our center X moves the origin point on the horizontal plane between left and right. Center Y moves the origin point of the deformer effect in the vertical direction. And lastly, global opacity here controls the amount of visibility of our effect.
