Hello Fablers. In this video, we're going to talk about the Tilt Shift Blur. Once again, using our green forests with the river back plate, go to the top right to our effects library. Let's scroll down and select the tilt shift blur option.
Select it, drag it and drop it. This one has a couple more settings here. We have Strength, Gradient, Angle, "is spreading" and Global Opacity.
Basically the way that tilt shift works is there's this sort of a gradient map that is being applied over your image. We can exaggerate here a little bit to see what's going on. As you change the angle, basically it will blur everything that is within the gradient and leave everything out of the gradient nice and in focus. And you get this really cool sort of tilt shift effect that you find in certain cameras and very popular on social media networks.
